Daily Meditation (15 minutes) - Yoga Nidra
After three hours of anatomy and embodied learning/ practice and getting ready for sleep, I settled into a guided yoga nidra. This particular guided script asked the listener/ practitioner to breathe on the third eye center, returning to that space after every focused area on the body. Lovely and peaceful.
Daily Yoga (est 70-90 minutes of actual movement?) - embodied learning/ anatomy with Marion for yoga teacher training
Marion guided us on the various movements of the body, and had us partner teach some of our favorite standing, seated, and floor postures while explaining what movements we had experienced (flexion, extension, etc.). I chose pigeon, balanced eagle, and my head to knee (my baby pose). We moved for the most of the three hour class, which was an incredible way to learn anatomy.
