Workshops Currently Offered

Leading Organizations with Mindfulness

Join Christine Dano Johnson, M.S. for an interactive workshop designed to introduce the benefits and practical applications of mindfulness practice in both individual and organizational settings. According to a 2010 study by Harvard University, adults spend forty-seven percent of their day thinking about past decisions or future tasks, instead of on current issues or the task at hand. This mental model of not performing, thinking, working, or living in the present can affect individuals and organizations in negative ways, including loss of productivity and high levels of workplace burnout. This workshop will teach participants how to apply methods of mindfulness practice utilized successfully by organizations and leaders within the private and public sector, to their own experience through individual, paired, and group activities. Participants will leave the workshop with a number of practical mindfulness tools, designed to be used immediately within their organization’s projects, programs, and individual lives. Workshop Objectives: Introduce mindfulness as a concept and in practice Learn examples of how mindfulness has been effectively instilled in the culture of organizations, and how individuals can utilize techniques in the workplace environment & interactions Develop a practical, observational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and strategic tool that may be used in and out of the workplace setting Format: This workshop is offered either at one full day, two half days, or can be broken into one hour sessions. Options for in-person, hybrid, or virtual are available. Contact Christine to customize for your needs. Follow-Up Coaching: Organizations and Individuals can add-on in-person or virtual coaching sessions after completing the workshop. Transformative Leadership

Join Christine Dano Johnson, M.S. for an interactive workshop designed to help leaders define and develop opportunities for growth, innovation, and transformation within themselves and their organizations. Often, senior leaders and high performers often find themselves stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and inertia when met with an experience or event that has the potential to negatively impact their teams and the culture of their organizations. Change is inevitable, and instead of seeing these “disorienting dilemmas” as opportunities for growth and strength, many leaders (and their companies) find themselves becoming outdated, irrelevant, and “doing things the way they’ve always been done.” This workshop, and follow-up, customized coaching sessions are designed to help leaders learn a process to manage and lead through change with innovation, courage, and grace. Additionally, this course will provide participants with a practical impactful and effective process to help build a culture of critical reflection, competence, and confidence within themselves and their teams. Workshop Objectives: Define Opportunities for Transformation Craft a Vision and Plan for Transformational Change Successfully Implementing Change (Winning Hearts and Minds) Embed a Repeatable Transformative Approach into your Leadership Style and Organizational Culture Format: This workshop is offered either at one full day, two half days, or can be broken into multiple one-hour sessions. Options for in- person, hybrid, or virtual are available. Follow Up Coaching (included): Christine will meet with you and your team at agreed-upon intervals to review progress, analyze your results for effectiveness and sustainability, and help you realign and revise your planning and execution efforts. "I use the things I learned in her workshops every single day in my personal and professional life. The ability to reset and adjust during a stressful day, to lean into the present and be mindful of the moment, is something that has greatly helped me reduce my stress and anxiety at work. All thanks to Christine and her teaching!"

Eric, USAF

"Christine facilitated and led many workshops and classes I've taken over the last few years. As a facilitator, her attention to detail eliminated all barriers to my learning. She anticipated all my potential needs and met them before I knew they existed. As a coach, she demonstrated and explained mindfulness and its impact on those I lead. Her organizational skills gave me a new goal on which to focus my own aspirations. There are too few superlatives when describing Christine Dano Johnson's impact on my professional development. She's personable, focused, and welcoming. She has set the standard by which I judge my performance. I'm fortunate to have been able to learn in her environment. Thank you, Christine!"
