Daily Meditation (15 minutes) - yoga nidra

I listened to a guided yoga nidra meditation for sleep, just before bed. My first introduction to yoga nidra was in college, when one of my theatre professors taught short asana practice followed by nidra during our movement classes. I remember feeling like my body had turned to sand, and was sinking into the floor like silt. I felt that openness last night, though not as intensely or deeply as I did twenty four years ago (!).


Daily Yoga Practice (30 minutes) - bandha w/ Michael


After the previous day's intense ashtanga practice, I was grateful for an abbreviated practice. Michael broke down how to gently and effectively "download" alignment in our bandhas, which is a complete game-changer. I felt strong and balanced, open, and especially "warrior-like" in my warrior series. Excited to learn more.
